Shipping & Returns

REVIEW BY MINISTRY. This policy is a draft awaiting the ministry's approval. The shipping rates, delivery estimates and returns terms below are still being decided, and this page states plainly which ones are outstanding rather than guessing at them.

The shop sells two kinds of thing: digital books and audio you download, and printed books and CDs that are posted to you.

Digital downloads

Digital items are available as soon as Stripe confirms your payment. The confirmation page shows a download link for every digital item in your order, and the same links are emailed to you.

Links work for thirty days from the date of purchase. If a link stops working, or your order confirmation did not arrive, write to kingdomkoum@gmail.com with the email address you used and the ministry will send them again.

Nothing is posted to you for a digital item, and no shipping is charged on an order that contains only digital items.

Printed books and CDs

Physical items are packed and posted by the ministry. Shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.

Physical orders ship within the United States only at present. Shipping is a flat amount per order, not per book:

  • $6.95 — orders containing a full-length book.
  • $3.00 — orders of mini-books and the worship CD only.

One rate is charged per order. Several items ordered together travel in one package, so ordering three mini-books costs $3.00 in shipping, not $9.00, and adding a mini-book to a full book order adds nothing to the shipping charge. The exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay.

Parcels are sent by USPS Media Mail. Delivery estimates are still being confirmed by the ministry, so no arrival date is promised here yet. If you need a printed book by a particular date, write to kingdomkoum@gmail.com first.

Returns

The returns window, the condition an item must be returned in, and who pays return postage are still being finalised by the ministry. They will be published here in full before this page is approved.

In the meantime, if something is wrong with your order, write to kingdomkoum@gmail.com within a reasonable time of receiving it and the ministry will put it right.

Damaged or lost parcels

If a parcel arrives damaged, or does not arrive at all, tell the ministry at kingdomkoum@gmail.com. Please include your order reference and, for damage, a photograph if you can.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the card used for the purchase, through Stripe. The refund policy for digital items is set out — with its outstanding decisions — on the terms page.

Cancelling an order

The point after which an order can no longer be cancelled is still being finalised by the ministry. Until it is published here, ask as soon as you can at kingdomkoum@gmail.com and the ministry will cancel the order if it has not yet been posted.

Sales tax

Sales tax is not added at checkout. The ministry is confirming where it is required to collect it, and this page will be updated before that changes.

Still to be decided by the ministry

  • Whether physical orders will ship outside the United States.
  • Delivery estimates.
  • The returns window and the condition items must be in.
  • Who pays return postage.
  • The refund policy for digital purchases.
  • The cut-off after which an order can no longer be cancelled.
  • The name and date of the person approving this policy.

Each of these needs a decision from the ministry. Nothing has been invented to fill them in.
